The UFC has yet to schedule Tony Ferguson’s next fight, and he might be growing impatient.
Ferguson took to Twitter on Tuesday to call out Conor McGregor, hoping to arrange his first bout since a TKO win over Anthony Pettis last fall.
Ferguson has been waiting for a title shot since UFC 229, an event McGregor and lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov headlined.
McGregor didn’t take the bait, and instead he wished the fighter well on his future.
McGregor and Nurmagomedov are serving suspensions for their roles in a brawl after UFC 229. McGregor is eligible to fight again in April, while Nurmagomedov should be cleared by July.
Dana White recentlyFerguson will be first in line for a title fight against Nurmagomedov.
The UFC has scheduled an interim lightweight title fight at UFC 236 between Max Holloway and Dustin Poirier.
