The 40-year-old quickly picked up where he left off from Round 1; he opened with three consecutive birdies, added an eagle on his ninth hole, and closed with another birdie to sit at 14-under through two rounds.
Kuchar is looking to claim his second PGA Tour title in three months after going winless since 2014. He won the Mayakoba Classic in November.
Leading the chase behind Kuchar is, who sits one shot back and tops the field in putting after posting 65 in Round 2.
The wildest round of the day belonged to, who holed out for an eagle three times in Round 2, all of which came on par 4s from over 100 yards. He’s the to record three eagles on par 4s in the same round since hole-by-hole scoring was introduced in 1983. Reavie carded a 5-under 65 to trail Kuchar by three.
