‘Big Mama’ is unstoppable
We know life can get busy, but if you missed the story on JoAnne “Big Mama” Carner, shame on you.
The cigarette-smoking 79-year-old, who was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1982, shot her age and stole the golf community’s heart at the inaugural Senior U.S. Women’s Open Championship at Chicago Golf Club.
Look at her gorgeous swing – and, of course, she pipes it.
Hopefully, we’ll see an 80-year-old “Big Mama” back in action next season.
On the PGA Tour, two-time winnerused Twitter to find a caddie for the John Deere Classic.
Bowditch, who hasn’t made a cut this season, came up with this hilarious proposal:
He found a 16-year-old named Elias Francque, who thought the job would be the perfect(he turned 17 on Friday).
Unfortunately, Bowditch missed the cut.
Big names at Wimbledon
With the upcoming Open Championship set to take place in Scotland, a couple of notable Tour pros stopped by Wimbledon to take in some tennis.
looked like he came straight from a workout, rocking a backward hat and thick sunglasses.
dawned a more suitable outfit for the All England Club, throwing on a suit and stylish shades.
‘s mesmerizing stinger at the Scottish Open at Gullane Golf Club made its rounds on Twitter. The ball flight of this shot is jaw-dropping.

Before he headed to London, Tiger gave some tips on how to pull off his iconic club twirl.
The American Century Championship, a celebrity golf tournament, took place July 10-15 in Lake Tahoe, Nev., and hosted names like Stephen Curry, Aaron Rodgers, Tony Romo, and Charles Barkley.
It must have been scorching, as Curry decided to do this midway through his round:

The Washington Capitals’ T.J. Oshie tackled the heat another way, dropping a putt with a beer helmet on.
Romo won the event, and, unsurprisingly, Barkley finished last. Probably because he hits the ball like this:
